first update from this room
well, hello livejournal. how's it going? same old? well, a few new things have happened in my life recently. a few.
I live in Boston now, and I go to college at Emmanuel College in Boston. Yeah.
It was an odd transition, the most awkward one of my life, thats for goddamn sure. But I think the transition is somewhat coming to an end, and I will soon be able to say that I am comfortable here.
Yes, I like it here. I like the people, the classes (so far), the food....etc. It's all really good and better than I ever thought.
Sure, there's some of it that is juvenile and immature, but i guess ive come to accept it for what it is. This is the time that you're supposed to be happy and open, and this is what i am witnessing and slowly becoming for the time being.
I know it is temporary though, i still want what i've always wanted.
my english proffesor is very good, and i think ive been spoiled with such a great teacher this first semester. he got me thinking, and understanding that im not here to get a job, im here to fucking learn.
I can get a job selling knives and make an astonishing amount of money, but i wouldnt like it. I'm here to learn about something i like, and to hopefully make a decent living doing what i like. this is why college was originally made.
I hope to create a major in film, they have lots of classes i can take at massart and they all seem interesting, oh well igotta go to sleep.
