Robin went to sleep in his own bed, in his own hut after a productive days hunting and smoking by the compound.

It was therefore a shock when he woke to the sensation of himself being pummelled and shouted at by a rather familiar voice.

"Gone for months, sending Marian back on her own and when you do come back you just plunk yourself down in the middle of the forest where anyone could find you and go to sleep!"

"Much?" Robin said confused as he took in his surroundings. He was indeed in Sherwood Forest. "Much!" He pulled Much to him hugging him tightly despite the litany of complaints and attempts to thump him. "I'm home," he said gleefully with a small pang as he thought of the friends he'd left behind. But no-one stayed on the island forever - they'd learnt that the hard way.

"Home," said Much furiously, thumping Robin hard. "What were you thinking about leaving! Marian came back alone in her condition with a story that makes no sense. We've been fighting the Sheriff and had to pretend you're still here and now we've a baby to look after."

Robin followed this - of course Marian's story made no sense to them but he knew it well enough and they either would see his story confirmed her or think both of them had lost their wits. "Why would Marian leave the baby with you," he asked puzzled.

Much turned on him, "That's what you ask? You've not even asked if you have a son or a daughter." There was worry on his face and Robin asked again more pointedly.

"Marian is in the castle, Guy caught her. We don't know what he's planning it's only been a week. Your daughter is in the camp with Will."

Robin did not correct this assumption of parenthood. Nor would he. "Eufemie?" he asked a brief smile ghosting over his features at the thought of meeting Marian's child and knowing she was safe despite Silence's worries until he reminded himself of Marian's predicament. "Well we had best get her mother back then hadn't we." He set off toward Camp, Much following him complaining loudly until a sound in the undergrowth had him motioning for quiet and pulling his sword.
