Stuff's going on
So I've been sick the last few days. Just a cold, but enough to make me do nothing but go home afterwork and sit and play some video games. I feel much better today though, mostly just the congestion and I'm sure I'll be coughing crap up for the next few days.
Work has been good. I'm almost done. I'm working right now, waiting for the rest of the Trumpet files to import. Once they're done, I'll be finished as much as I can, unless Guy emails me back and lets me know about those piano and theremin files. I don't think he wants those done, but you never know.
Actually, I'm hoping that the bombing in London doesn't slow down his return. He's supposed to be back this Saturday, but I'm not sure where he's flying out of. It might be Frankfurt, but I'm not sure.
Anyway, Johnny's been back, so I'm hoping that he doesn't need to use the computer in his/our room too much today. The only thing I can do after I'm done with the instruments is work on DATs some more, which requires the use of that computer. Oh well, even if he is going to use it, I'd only really be missing one day of work.
I need to call Juan today and find out what's going on with that camera job.
In other news my new computer has been getting some use. I haven't been writing any cues lately because of the aforementioned sickness. I find it hard to concentrate on being creative like that when I've already been toying with instruments and junk all day at work. So I should probably restart writing cues tonight. I have been using my Wacom tablet though, working on the first full-color, fully computerized edition of "The Continuing Adventures of Qui-Gon Jinn"(CAQJ). I think I want to start doing a comic online again, this time using CAQJ along with its predeccesor Everyday Kung Fu (EDKF)and a comic starring a new character I invented at work called Trombone Sam. he's a sad fella. You'll see someday.
Been toying with my web design software as well. My goal is to have at least a cursory website for my compositions up and running by the end of September. I need more cues however. today I should realy sit down and organize what kind of cues I want to do and make sure I have enough for each type of genre that anyone might think of. If not, I could always just keep adding, which I should probably do anyway.
I think that's about it. I start housesitting at Joe and Shirely's again tomorrow until the 22? 21? I don't remember, it's a Friday of some kind/type.
