You tell me! I'm assuming you've been here! I just came last night and the first thing to happen is get chased by a bunch of fucking monsters. And it seems my powers are sealed and I'm missing my quarter staff. Been looking for help after escaping, but no one's ever answered my call! This is so goddamn frustrating!
Well, sometimes people don't have access to the Network inside their houses around here. I've got to use a terminal across the street myself.
This is a place where you're brought to repent for your sins and I guess the people running this place will tell you what those sins are if you ask nicely. And they'll also will give you back your weapon too without asking for a fee. And from what I've noticed they do that for the first month just to make sure you aren't going to hurt the people around you or something.
Anyways, you're suppose to find a place to live in, get a job and not cause too much trouble unless you're protecting yourself. There's a church that newcomers can stay in and the two biggest places that are hiring now are the companies ShinRa and Shura.
Well, you will get your powers back and you can live above the plate thing where there's better food, and sunlight, and stuff like that. Of course, you need a job to pay for rent.
Umm, I think ShinRa is more about energy and trying to better the livign conditions. ShuRa is doing a lot of energy projects and police work. There's also SOLDIER - they're a mercenary group - and a lot of small businesses.
Vash, cool name. I'm Annmarie...which is dorky, I don't like it. I should consider renaming myself. Thanks for the help by the way, otherwise I would just be sitting around the cursing the air.

Church for shelter..ok...What kind of jobs do ShinRa and ShuRa offer, and are there any other jobs available out there?
