Randomness aka Still Alive Over Here
Went to bed early last night (read, nearly as soon as I got home) so I'm having to work on my journal now. Bzzz bzzzz.
King John was a surprisingly good play. However, the plot synopsis was almost incomprehensible, at least to my politics-hating mind. Speaking of politics--we had several moments during the play where we thought we had slipped into watching King's Gate instead. (King's Gate, our LARP, can also be quite complicatedly political.)
Also, The Bastard was an angry little man. (One might have almost thought him Cuban, if he hadn't been colored like kingfrog.) He was really the key thing that made the play.
Thursday night, Deirdre randomly grabbed one of my Dangermouse DVDs and asked to watch it. Marie has latched on like a lamprey. butterinthesun reported that she only wanted about fifteen minutes of it last night but she has been entranced with it again this morning for Saturday morning cartoons.
She also wants a flying car. I suppose at least she doesn't want to live in a mailbox. Yet.
