We have lift off!!!
So my god...i haven't written anything here for a long,long time. I have been one busy person over the last month or so. There has been so many crazy things happening at work. Everyone is quitting all at the same time... we are having a corporate visit tomorrow...my boss is on vacation with her boy-friend who is an ex-manager for our company...and i think the shit is going to hit the fan!...i think we are going to have a big meeting with our DM(district manager)
and tell her what a horrible Job Christy (my store manager) is doing. It's going to be out of control....BUT, on a much happier note...
I have a band! well i have a bass player who is awesome! His name is Mike we have been practicing almost every day since the day we met. We have around 10 songs in various forms of completion. He's really into old school 3-chord punk-rock and power pop,as well as many of the hipper art punk bands of late...like the Kaiser Cheifs, The Futureheads,Franz Ferdinand...etc. And he's extremely committed to making this work...i'm very,very excited. We may have found a drummer...my friend's brother just moved into town and apparently he is a musical virtuoso...he plays everything...but he's been really wanting to play drums for someone...so i am gonna get a hold of him and see what happens.
We are also looking for a second guitarist....but i want to wait till we get our songs tight and fully fleshed out. But all i am saying people...is this is gonna fucking be good.I'll keep you all posted.
