The human race has dignity because of her,
The human race loses face because of her,
And the world is on a spiral,
My perceptions,
Describe my reception,
Take my hand,
Trip me up into the sky where I can look upon it all,
And designate this or that,
Feeling unsympathetic,
Being matter of fact,
It's drafty when you say hello,
It's cold when you say go,
It's perfect when she says hello,
It's tender when she lets go,
I'm in a bind,
Because relationships cost time,
I have half a mind,
And half of your crime,
But I'm caught in the middle,
Brittle and overcome by deep resent,
Pent up about you, but she will pay my rent,
Do I move forward torn?
Or forget those yesterday's when the sun was never born,
Leaving it's cradle on a bright and sunny morn?
Trained to be the best machine for you,
Used to be strained by she,
But it turns out I have options in this symphony,
Should it be minor, or major,
Add an inflection here, or delete this section later?
I waiver,
Feeble, favored,
You and she,
Run around my feelings,
Being is hard to forget,
Seeing is the place I've set,
The table is ready, the demands met,
And the casket is open,
Inside is the last smile,
For awhile we can hold this moment, she and me,
But you're still there, my past calls for you,
Today is still today, and the past is broken glass,
It can't be what it was,
It can't be whole,
If I turn, will it matter?
Glass shatters,
Commotion is the final potion,
And I fall asleep in her arms,
You walk away,
I won't stop you,
I'll be dreaming where Spring still brings life,
And when I wake up,
My eyes aren't moist,
Because I have been crying.
