TFC Chkpt 4: Jemmy's Age
Discussion about Jemmy being able to understand Jamie at the campfire and how old Jemmy is.... my research into the books.
- Jemmy was born in Spring likely May or June 1770.
- Roger is hung May 16, 1771.
-2 Days after Roger's hanging Jamie comes with the property allotment for Roger - May 18
-10 days after the hanging puts Roger at the window looking down at Jemmy, Jamie and Bree. -May 26
-Late May is when they are on their way home and Roger yells, "No" to Jemmy. May 26 - May 31
I figure this means Jemmy is approximately 1 give of take some days.
Now the question begs. Would he be able to understand Jamie telling him to stay away from the fire? Any mom's out there?
