Episode Discuss: 313 Eye of the Storm
After Jamie's capture by Captain Leonard, Claire continues on to Rose Hall to find Young Ian. While searching the slave quarters she is captured by Hercules and taken to Geillis who is very upset with Claire and believes Claire has been thwarting her plans for the last 20 years. To prove her innocents on that crazy charge, Claire shows Geillis pictures of Brianna. Geillis apologizes and steals one of the photos believing Brianna is the 200 year old baby.
Meanwhile, Jamie is with John who is dressing down Captain Leonard for overstepping his jurisdiction with no evidence, warrant or affidavit. After Leonard leaves with his tail between his legs, Jamie says his goodbyes and heads off to Rose Hall where he finds Claire trying to get out of the house in pursuit of Young Ian.
Jamie and Claire follow the sounds of drums and find the local people dancing around a fire which is reminiscent of the druid dance on Craigh Na Duhn. They also encounter Yi Tien Cho and Margaret. Margaret reads both Jamie and Claire commenting on the rabbit he saw on Culloden Battlefield and the bird Claire saw in the window to remind her of Jamie. Margaret then channels Brianna and imparts a sense of danger to Claire and Jamie about what Geillis is up to.
Jamie and Claire race off into the foliage towards Abandawe where there is a portal that makes people disappear. They find Geillis there preparing to sacrifice Young Ian so she can pass through the stones to kill Brianna as a sacrifice for the future king of Scotland. As Jamie struggles with Hercules, Claire fights Geillis trying to stop her from killing Young Ian. In the end, Claire ends up killing Geillis and remembering the bones Joe Abernathy was inspecting.
Back aboard the Artemis, Jamie and Claire take the time to appreciate the others company. When the wake later the skies are turning and suddenly they are caught in a great storm. Jamie sends everyone below deck as he and some of the crew try to keep the ship from sinking. Claire goes above deck to help out and ends up being washed overboard. Jamie goes in after her and pulls her up onto some debris while they are in the eye of the storm.
Next we see them washed ashore and when a family comes to their aid they are told they are Georgia in the Colonies.
