More season 3 information
Maril Davis did a Q&A on Twitter yesterday and revealed that Hal (Lord John's older brother) has been cast -- was cast ages ago (which makes sense since they filmed the Culloden episode back in September or thereabouts), but for reasons unknown, she wouldn't say who is playing him. I don't know if that points more to it being a big name actor (so they want to keep it as a surprise) or a relatively unknown actor (they figure no one much will care if he's not well known).
She was also asked if Mr. Willoughby will be seen, and she replied yes to that as well, but again, would not say anything more about that. They must have cast that role by now since they're working on the episodes in which we first meet Mr. Willoughby -- which happens pretty much right after the Jamie-Claire reunion.
I also read somewhere that Starz's main publicity person is on maternity leave, which may explain why the casting announcements have been rather few and far between (and relatively low-key bordering on non-existent) this season. However, relating to that, Maril also revealed that they'd just done their first major publicity stills shoot, but no details re: when we might get to see those.
Entertainment Tonight's Leanne Aguilera has been in Scotland this past week interviewing the cast, so there should be something released by ETNow in coming weeks.
