Some random Outlander news bits
Season 2 DVD/Blu-ray release date
According to Amazon.com and .ca, the season 2 DVDs and blu-ray sets will be released on November 1, 2016. You can, of course, pre-order them. What is a bit confusing, however, is that Amazon.com has the Nov. 1 release date for the DVD and blu-ray regular editions, but no release date for the Special Collector's edition. Amazon.ca gives Nov. 1 as the release date for the collector's edition, but doesn't have a release date for the regular sets. Make of that what you will. Also, as of writing, the price for the collector's edition on Amazon.ca is better than the price on Amazon.com -- especially if you factor in the exchange rate, but even if our currencies were at par, it would still be cheaper on Amazon.ca, and that, my friends, is REALLY, REALLY WEIRD. We here in Canada normally have to pay a fair bit more for these things.
