Oh me too. I started reading the book and thought, "What? How could she possibly leave him?"

Me too. To see Jamie's grave there and her reaction. I get blurry eyed every time I read it.

I know right. Brianna and Roger are soooo obvious. It was like Diana wrote in these characters and it didn't matter if they had this great chemistry... they would just be together. That being said I think later I really like them.

I'm with you there. The idea of having to see that reminder... the smiles that make her eyes into triangles like Jamie's... the smiling in her sleep... everything... I couldn't even imagine the pain of such a constant reminder but I also think that it is like having a piece of him when you can't have him.

It is so true. It isn't like they had to try... they were just perfect for one another and they are so proud of one another that it just makes you happy to read about it.

Yes me too, but I have to wonder if she learned anything by this point. I mean she was nearly burned as a witch so shouldn't she be more careful?

The things that Jamie says to Claire makes my heart soar. No one talks like that these days, so I'm living through a book. I'm pretty sure if a guy ever told me that my face was his heart I'd just melt into a puddle at his feet. lol

I know I would! Heck I think I'd be happy if a guy thought to even quote Jamie. I mean Jamie just says these things that are totally sweet and you know they've been something he's been thinking of. It isn't like he's on the spot... he just has them in his head because he's so smitten with his WIFE! Bless the man.

I know I laughed so hard because honestly... I would want to shave. I mean Jamie mentions that a beard itches like a fiend but my legs tend to itch so I'd be all about shaving or waxing. Still Jamie's shock is so funny... leave it to Diana to think that up!

It's so refreshing to have this little "book club" like thing to read with. I've always wanted people to talk to about the Outlander series, and here you are! :)

I was part of a group that had discussions for every day which was way too hard and it was a running thread so it was very hard to follow. I think something like a journal is much easier to do it in and since next fall should be the 7th book it seemed like a good idea.

I'm glad you are enjoying it. I too have always wanted to really discuss the books with others.
