two huge events i missed while in china...
pharrell solo album release & thom yorke's solo album release.
the first i knew would be coming out, i just didn't know the exact date...then yesterday i heard it blaring in some shoe store here in HK and made a mission to HMV to buy Skateboard P...i had actually sampled it on HMV's website before making the purchase and well, to put it mildly...it sucks. but i still went out and bought it...i'm too brand loyal, heck, i bought MJ's last album, so that's saying something...haha
have u guys ever bought an album u knew sucked...but bought it cuz u liked the artist/band enough?
the second was a surprise...i had NO clue thom yorke came out with a solo album...so i made the unexpected purchase along with mr. P...this album is FAR more satisfying...thom yorke is just dirty...what do u guys think of the album? he's got some hip-hop type rhythms working on a few tracks...sounds dope, maybe he could produce for *ahem* pharrell who mailed in this album...so uninspired. who could hate him though...he's so hot.
