That sounds descriminatory to me. What if you lock it AND leave a sign asking for people to knock and wait before entering or something...? Seriously, it sounds like something you SHOULD be able to come to an arrangement over easily (but, of course, the SHOULD is dependent on others being vaguely reasonable).

That's one of the problems - I did have a sign up to ask people to knock. It didn't bloody work. You would think that people would have more mnners.
