The earth has safely completed yet another revolution around the sun.
2005 was event-filled and full of milestones for me. Among others, this was the first whole year I spent as a contributor to our GNP, and the year I made my first million. This was the first year I made my first major business investment, worth 300 k. This venture was the Boracay store, which opened this year too. This was also the year I was awarded by Philippine Seven Corp. as one of the best performers in the central district. That award meant a lot to me, because I know some of the people in PSC were skeptical about a 22 year-old running a 7-11. I was the youngest (and still the youngest, I think) S.A. franchisee in Philippine 7-11 history, but when I received that distinction, I was finally able to say that I was one of the best. This year, my friends threw a surprise birthday party for me, and it was the best. I went to bora thrice, and each time was great on all counts. I couldn’t possibly write all the good things here. I’d say that 2005 was generally good. I just hope the best of 2005 would be the worst of 2006.
It’s 8 days into the year, but since I haven’t been writing here, I want to wish everyone a happy new year!
