He followed her in a rolling gait, not particularly caring about speed at the moment so much as getting where they were going some time or the other. Somewhere along the way he had pulled his own dark coat, the one he felt most comfortable in, and shrugged his shoulders beneath the dark leather.
With the point of one finger, he indicated the direction they needed to head in. This go 'round he led the way, up topside and waited for her to climb up after him. "Clearing Township is a mile that way," he pointed again, this time towards the West. "A short walk." The handgun tucked in its holster was a familiar and comfortable weight on his hip.
