Dear Az,
Not much of a letter writer. Actions are better than words. I just wanted you to know all is well here. You're sister's fine, and Jeb hasn't done anything to further annoy anyone. Eliza's a cute kid.
Don't complain too much about the guards, kid. If they're jawing with you they aren't paying enough attention to their surroundings. Keeping you alive is more important than conversation. It's more than my job, or even what you mean to DG and Jeb. I'm not sure how I'd deal with losing another family member. I'm proud you want to learn to defend yourself. Makes me feel a bit better about your safety.
I expect you to be able to kik Jason or Johnson's ass when you get back.

You do whatever works to keep the princess safe. If acting completely like cousins does that, you do it.
I'll talk to you both when you get back if you should make friends with the princess. She's very easy to get along with, and like.
We're rewriting a lot of the old regulations as we go, anyway. Some of the strictures were constraining crap that actually prevented proper security. I trust both of your individual judgments in such things. If I didn't, you would not have your current assignment.
