Who: Zerokins & assorted others.
Where: Bar in the Realm of the Unwanted
When: January 14th, noon.
What: A nice little conversation between 'friends.'

Three more days was three days too many. Zero had received only one of Gabriel’s letters, and that was a few too few for his liking. The Longcoat hadn’t said much, but Zero was expecting better news ( Read more... )

Zero wasn't sure if he hated Dawson or Ransom more at the moment, or maybe his darling ex-wife, or all three of them with the same burning passion. His eyes focused on the fae in an attempt to not shoot either of them as the two men would be a big bonus for usually having a brain in combat.

Dawson said nothing when Zero had turned on him, and Ransom let out a noise reminding him of one of the other Longcoats - one who couldn't quite get anything through his brain. It took a lot of will power to resist rolling his eyes.

A bit of movement tore his gaze away from the fae, and Zero found himself watching his ex-wife saunter over to wrap her arms around Dawson's neck, greeting him as if he were an old friend. His hand tensed around his gun.

"Kieran." As much as she did not deserve the use of her first name, she deserved the use of his last, as awful as it was, even less. "Come to beg your way back into my life?" His hand remained on the handle of the gun, but he didn't draw it yet, though there were too many reasons already. Zero was ( ... )

Son of a whore! Dawson's eyes nearly widened dramatically before he pulled his reaction back with great effort. Any showing of weakness to Zero would end with him dead on the ground, and if by some astronomical odds the General didn't kill him then and there, the other Longcoats would jump at the chance to yank him down out of his position ( ... )

He could have laughed at the poetic injustice of it all that Dawson of all the women in the realms had to be with Kieran. Only now did her name make sense to him, it was Zeros ex-wife, now why she was his ex he had no idea, she was hot as hell, a small lithe little thing with a lot of strength despite her little size.

Dawson did what Gordon wanted to do, pulled her into his lap. His mind went ramped with all the ideas that hit him, and then he made a face when he imagined the two of them together. A naked Kieran was one thing but a naked Thomas was just not in his things to see in his lifetime, or in any lifetime to be exact.

With a smirk towards Dawson he managed to remove it when Zero looked around, and instead put on a blank look as to not be read, hopefully. It wasn't a crime to think she was hot, and only now was he grateful that he was the loser in the little game the two of them played. Gordon had no intention of being in the end of Zeros wrath.

"I think that question should be for you Zero, after all you're the one who looked like a kicked puppy when I told you to leave." Kieran was nothing if not bold, after all with him as a husband you'd sort of have to be, what with his attitude and his violent tendencies. "You know.." Trailing off she shifted in Dawson's lap - in a way that was probably favourable to the man who's lap she was on - she produced a familiar looking gun out of her back pocket and twirled it around on her finger. "Look like something of yours? Oh that's right, it is."

It was just far too easy to mock him, after all she was the one who had ended things so why should she care? If the bastard hadn't changed so damned much she wouldn't have made him leave, after all that was the reasoning behind forcing him out with his own gun. She never really expected to see him again and not here, and not under these circumstances either.

Mielwynn watched the entire byplay with feigned boredom.

It was actually quite amusing and was giving her insight into her new 'partner'.

She quietly ordered absinthe, sugar and cold water, then shifted her attention back to the little drama being played out before her.

The kicked puppy had become a grown dog, but he hadn't changed a bit. Somewhere in a burried bit of Zero's heart, the encounter hurt, but his wounded pride provided a much greater pain. How dare she bring any of this up again, how dare she even still be alive ( ... )

There was something completely wrong and deliciously sinful about the fact that she was moving around in his lap while taunting her ex. Especially when said former husband was his leader and would gladly put him down for entertainment's sake.

Ozma with her fucking gown on fire! One minute Dawson's happily imagining which bones of Gordan's he was going to break, and in what order. And the next both Kieran and the General are pulling out guns. Did she really need to mock and taunt the angry psychopath? Really?

If he survived this he was going to handcuff her to a damn bed for an entire day. He was going to get something out of this shitty deal. Besides the enjoyment of getting blood all over Gordan's pale skin. Gods that guy needed a tan.

Everything was beginning to work itself in his mind as they spoke and he realized that not only had he and Kieran been married but - she had been the one to end it. That would have done wonders for any mans ego let alone Zero's, who seemed to be rather large as it was. Now all this was coming back to slap him in the face and it was honestly all he could do not to fall off his chair.

If this were any other man he would just laugh in his face and walk off with whatever female was nearest (well a hot one that is). However he found himself glued to his seat to watch how this entire thing played out. So with that in mind he held his hand out and nodded to the barkeep to get another drink. He had a feeling he'd need it.

Her eyes took in the fae curiously before she looked towards Gordon who was looking as though he was about to die of laughter if he didn't drink himself into a coma first. Very amusing. Her eyes shifted behind her at Dawson before slowly moving her hips against him in a slow manner.

Kieran clicked her tongue a few times at his words and shook her finger from side to side. Somehow managing to lean her body towards Zero she grasped the side of his neck as she pulled his head towards her. "Maybe I did miss you but it was you who came crawling back to me, crying on my shoulder begging me to take you back."

Oh shit. Too much bloodshed even in as vile a place as this wouldn't go unnoticed. And if it involved longcoats the news might get out even to the underground.

That would not only make her job more difficult, but word might leak to her damned brother that an albino fae was present.

"Obviously he was drunk and REALLY wanted that gun back." Mielwynn interjected. She looked over the small woman with a hint of contempt.

She kept the fact that she did think the mental image the woman painted was rather funny far from her face.

"No need for violence when the object isn't worth it." She hoped the man was clever enough to get her meaning. Was this woman's death worth risking his revenge?

His men were quiet, although he could imagine the look on their face without needing to look. If this were happening to any man but himself, Zero would be in tears from laughter, or he would have left by then. Of course not, the world revolved around Zero, therefore the bad came with the good. Damn the bloody whore.

She forced his head forward, and he didn't get the chance to struggle before she began to speak. That was one thing he didn't want the other men to hear. Zero could feel the blood rush from his features for a few seconds, the smirk turning to a blank look ( ... )

Miel threw back her milky green drink then slammed the glass down.

"Fine.I'm not cleaning up any messes."

She moved around the little show and smiled at Gordon.

She reached out slowly to stroke along one defined cheekbone. "My, aren't you pretty? I like pretty."

Best to leave before too many remembered she was there. And if she could satisfy one of her many cravings at the same time... all the better.

She leaned in, showing her pale, and ample cleavage as she whispered in his ear. "I realize the floor show is fascinating. But other things can be even better."

Gods, she did know how to stoke a man's fire. Even knowing that every movement was calculated to entice him didn't put him off. Instead he found it addictive, and gladly let her do what she wished. While he was definitely usually the aggresor when it came to females, he gladly let her take control for the moment ( ... )

Clearly whatever it was that she was saying to his commander was not meant for anyone else's' ears, but hell if that would stop him from being curious and wanting to know, though he stayed silent and let his mind run rampant with all of the ideas. Downing another drink he ordered one more, deciding that perhaps after this last drink of his that he should just get up and leave, allowing Zero to talk to her by himself ( ... )

"Mmmm. Very much so. I've been inconvenienced for a while, and feeling certain urges. I thought you might like to help me satisfy them." Mielwynn ran her tongue over her teeth, her eyes heavy lidded. Her catlike pupils widened a bit.

"But if you prefer the show, I can find some other company." I'm not quite limited to local fare."

Zero was stumbling over his words, and if it wasn't just so sad it might actually be cute. "I didn't sleep around, Zero you did. I learned early on not to expect much from you. You were always eying the closest woman and staring her down or bedding her, while I stayed at home faithfully and talked to the few friends you didn't run away. It just kills you." Kieran said as she licked her lips, her eyes going to the gun against her shoulder. In an instant she had brought hers (well his really) up into the underside of his jaw, just where the bone faded into skin and tipped it so that if she fired, it would go straight into his head.

"You wanna shoot me? Do it, you won't survive it. You are the one who taught me how to fight and to fire, you should remember that unless you are in your idiotic drunken state as you were most times I saw you."
