Cain had sent in a notice for a conference as soon as possible, and when she had first gotten it she thought that there might be something wrong with DG or Azkadellia - and in a way there was. In her hands was a general report that one of her own personal guards had filled out for the week, something simply to keep her occupied until Cain arrived.
