Oooooooohhhhh man
I LOVE LOVE LOVE epicurious.com and it has been super useful and fun on many occasions. I was looking up a recipe to use up extra rosemary and I found this one:

Sounded awesome but deceptively simple, so I checked out the comments section (love that stuff is already test-driven, haha) and had to laugh my A** off when I read the following comments:
I made this for my husband's BBQ club last weekend and they laughed at me. One of them spit it back onto the plate and one said he wouldn't feed this to a dog! Men are pigs! We should bbq them except I'm sure they would still be DISGUSTING. I went straight home and cuddled with my cats Mr Pibbles and Jellybean and had a nice glass of White Zin and that made it a little better, but it was still an AWFUL experience so remember that before you try this!

OMG! Dallas - I know exactly what you're talking about! We live in Austin, out by the lake and I made a perfectly lovely chili with white beans, tomato compote and some truffle oil, and when I took it to the chili cook-off I was sneered at! One of those stupid rednecks told me "chili aint got no beans in it, missus" and another one said he wouldn't feed it to a starving dog! Men are such inferior creatures, let's just get rid of them!
