I promised I'd post this entry so here it is.
Visting Naples:
Our first day in Florida was really rainy and all we ended up doing was going to the mall after adjusting to the eastern time zone, so I didn't take any pictures. The second day, we drove from Orlando to my mom's condominium. Which is pretty nice and surprisingly spacious. I probably should have taken a couple of pictures of it but failed to do so. Anyway, we went to the beach. There's some seriously expensive mansions along the way, even though they are just 5 miles away from the beach. I expect my mother and step father will sell their house in Cortland, NY and just move there. After seeing it, I would. It's pretty nice:
Naples Beach:
Clearly they live in a retirement community, but it's very calm and relaxing. We drove back the same day and went to bed.
Visiting Kennedy Space center
It had been several years since we'd been to the Nasa Space center. The first part of the tour took us within a mile of the space shuttle getting ready to launch:
This is the vehicle assembly building where the mount the space shuttle and roll it out to the launch pad. It's actually pretty big.
This is Commander Shepard's Space suit. This was one of the first astronauts in space and the inspiration for the Mass Effect character. I happened to be wearing my N7 hat that day.
Here's the base of a Saturn 5 rocket. The whole thing is setup horizontally in a huge warehouse. It's pretty cool to see the whole thing together and up close.
They also have an assembled space shuttle:
I, for one, was glad to hear they are ending the space shuttle program. The thing is horribly outdated and barely safe as we've seen over the years. The thing even still has green screen computers. I'm sure it was top of the class in 1983, but there's been a lot of advances in space flight since then. They informed us that are planning on replacing it with the Boeing x-37:
Epcot
We did our typical rides, but the thing to note is that I was told there was a secret VIP area for Siemens employees. I decided to bring my ID and see what would happen. The result was VIP treatment. This place has its own private bathrooms, free drinks, and conference room. Take a look:
Epcot Siemens VIP Lounge:
For dinner, we went to Japan and had sushi. While this wasn't as great as our usual sushi places, the atmosphere was nice:

We closed the park out for the night being a few of the only people left there:

Magic Kingdom
We managed to do everything we love to do at the park. Pirate, Haunted Mansion, Space Mountain, etc. I ended up getting kind of tired by the end of the day:
We ate at Cinderella's Castle for dinner and it was a little different than the last time we went. Basically they freak out if you don't want your picture with Cinderella. We had to tell them 3 times we just wanted to go upstairs and have dinner. It was really odd.
When we got up there, we had not only a great meal, but the following princesses come to your table to talk to you/take pictures with you: Belle, Jasmine, Snow White, and Aurora. I was a little surprised I was the only one at the table that knew who Aurora was. I saw that movie one time when I was a kid. The odd things that we remember. Well, I don't have any pictures because most of you know the only Disney princess I care about is Ariel...and she totally wasn't there.
We had a great time and concluded the night by watching fire works. Oh yeah and here's my sister and future step-mother on the teacups. You may notice that it sounds like something breaks at the end, but I must have watched this ride 8 times waiting for them to get on and it's just the noise it makes when it's turned off:

MGM/Disney's Hollywood Studios:
There's not much worth mentioning. MGM is our least favorite park. We still have a good time but there's nothing really worth mentioning. We like going for 2 things primarily: The Brown Derby Restaurant, and Fantasmic. If you don't know what fantasmic is, the best way to describe it is similar to Kingdom Hearts: You see all the Disney characters together in the same place and Mickey is the key for defeating the villains. We also like the Indiana Jones Stunt show:

MGM Fantasmic 2 (the very end):
That's about it. We have a great time every time we go and I can't wait to return.
