This is a fundraiser that one of my brothers in the military is participating in. He is raising money for the Wounded Warrior Project.

Friends and Family,
I want to share a fundraiser I am participating in; this fundraiser is to benefit those who have given much for our freedom, the Wounded Warriors.
Fight Gone Bad
http://fgb5.org, is a world wide CrossFit athletic event that is raising money for three different charities this year: LIVESTRONG, Wounded Warrior Project and the CrossFit Foundation.
Here is the link to my fund raising donation page
https://rapidgiving.com/fundraising/page/11013/leslies-fundraising-page. On this page you will find information about the three different charities and what they strive to achieve and a Donate Now button.
I am participating through my gym, Alamo CrossFit. The event and will be held this Saturday, 25 September 2010.
The Wounded Warrior Project
http://www.woundedwarriorproject.org began when several individuals took small, inspired actions to help others in need.
One night while watching the evening news, a group of veterans and brothers were moved by the difficult stories of the first wounded service members returning home from Afghanistan and Iraq. They realized then and there that something needed to be done for these brave individuals beyond the brass bands and ticker tape parades.
The resulting objective was to provide tangible support for the severely wounded and help them on the road to healing, both physically and mentally.
If you would like to support our wounded warriors through this CrossFit athletic event, please take a minute and donate a few dollars, $5 or $10 or whatever you feel like giving, it all adds up. The money raised goes to the Wounded Warrior Project.
Thank you and God Bless,
Leslie
