emotionally a roller coaster
Couple of things on my mind actually.
First, I wanted to let you all join me in my happiness. This week I got my first essay back, and I couldn't believe what was written on the first page. My grade. It was a big fat 8,5! (out of 10,0 so this is really really well done) I was astonished, happy, relieved, all kinds of things at the same time. It's great to have this as a first grade, because it's a real motivation when you haven't figured out yet whether you like the course or not! :D
Second, I went to The Fray with Eva last night, and the whole day must have been one of the top ten best days of my life! We had been sitting outside the building for a couple of hours, just to make sure we could stand at the front at the concert. Not only did we stand at the front, but just before the doors opened, Isaac, the lead singer, came out. I was literally shaking when I saw him, but I still managed to ask him for a picture, which he agreed on. He was acting totally relaxed, not like us, crazy fans, waiting to see just him. Oo Em Gee, I was SO excited to see him in real life, you know? Eva took a pic of me and him, and he had his arm on my back so I thought I could do that too, no problem. So I actually touched him, lol, I couldn't believe it. Will post the pic as soon as Eva has sent it to me ;)
The concert was great. They played all our favorite songs, except for one. In the end, the people who work there, who organize the concerts, they threw the set lists and guitar picks in the audience, and I managed to grab one of each. My guitar pick happened to be one Dave, one of the guitarists, had been playing with! (you can see the text on it is a little faded)
Third, now that Eva is on her way home again, and my parents, who were here for a short weekend as well, aren't here anymore either, I am starting to feel kinda lonely. It's quiet here now, such a big house just for myself. Overall, I like it, but at moments like this, it's not that great anymore. I also don't have to go to University this week. Because of our exams next week, we have this week off. It's good to have time for studying, but like I said: lonely....
