Sam sat on the bed in the strange room, swinging his feet absently. In reality, he was rather too tall, and the bed rather too short for effective leg-swinging, but that didn't stop him. Every now and again, he would turn to the laptop sitting next to him and give it a curious little poke, wrinkling his nose at the screen; it was clear that he

It took him a moment, but when that distinctive vworp, vworp sound registered, he practically flew up from the mattress, scrambling around to gape at the corner the sound was coming from. No way.
But it was, undeniably, the TARDIS. Sam's mouth, if possible, dropped open even further, as much as it was possible to drop whilst simultaneously turning into a brilliant grin.
'That's the TARDIS!' He exclaimed to nobody in particular, bubbling over with excitement, and then when the door opened, informed the man who'd opened it. 'That's the TARDIS! The TARDIS!!'
Sam bounced up off the bed, still grinning like a loon.
((OOC: Yeah. It was a mental regression virus, after all. Is Bender not in his normal body, then?))

He laid Bender out on the bed, and the boy immediately began twitching, his eyes slowly opening. Nine spun around for a moment to give Sam a wave, "Hullo Sam, how's your mum," and without waiting for a reply, turned back to the incapacitated boy.
"Feeling alright? Culture shock set in? Funny, the younger ones tend to accept it easier, go figure, and you don't even get the pop culture references. Bet if I sent in a load of Power Rangers after you you'd have stayed awake, rubbish American programming." He rolled his eyes and took a step back, giving the two some room.
{No, actually, I saw a few people, like Juno, who just went full youth regression, and decided to go with that. *nod nod*}

He hadn't always looked like that, though! He'd been old before, when Sam was littler, and suddenly his faintly confused expression turned into a brilliant smile. The Doctor!
'You've regenerated!' He chirped. 'You're the Doctor and- and-'
Seemingly unable to come up with any further words to express his utter delight, Sam threw himself at the Doctor, wrapping him in a furious hug

"Yup, that's me, hullo, Sam. Can't wait 'till you're older and remember all of this." He smirked a little, "But, I do believe I'm here for other reasons, mister Touchy Feely, you've got a guest."

Sam untangled himself from the Doctor, feeling a bit guilty. He'd asked Johnny to come over so he could take care of him, after all, he shouldn't be distracted.
Still- the Doctor! In the TARDIS! In the same room as Sam! He was actually real! Sam wanted to explore the TARDIS; he could run for miles and miles in there, he bet, and it'd never end. And so near! It was just standing there in the room like it'd always been there, and Sam couldn't control his grin.
But, with an effort, he returned his gaze to Johnny, bouncing a little on the balls of his feet.
'Uh huh,' he said, looking down at him. 'S he alright?' A sudden worry struck him, and he looked up at the Doctor with wide eyes. 'His dad din't hurt him, did he?'

"I'm fine," he snapped petulantly to Sam, glaring warily between the two of them.
Nine ignored this and shook his head, "Not when I got there, he didn't. Kind of difficult to maim when there's a police box blocking the door."
"A what?" Obviously, Bender had no idea what was going on, and that strange man beside the one that picked him up didn't look like the young kid he was expecting. As a matter of fact, it really was quite frightening.
