Lucy: Did you feel at all betrayed when Apollo reverted back to 'normal' after wiping out (and consequently restoring) the entirety of Somalia? What are your feelings -- if you have any on the subject, I mean -- on Apollo's dual nature?
Bertie: Really now, you can be honest with me -- how good was the sex with Apollo?
James: Commodore, how outlandish is the idea of your having had a relationship with the boy bounty hunter? I mean, really. You two are not so different from one another.
Lucy: Well, I wouldn't necessarily say betrayed, but it was certainly disappointing. I... haven't precisely made many friends on the community--it's not something I felt worth spending a great deal of time on-- but I'd thought perhaps I'd met something of a kindred spirit in Apollo. Apparently not.
And, hmm. Honestly, I think he just needs someone to help... wake up that other side of him, as it were. Just a little nudge. Of course, I would be more than happy to assist.
Bertie: Er. Well. I- that is to say, I'm hardly an expert in those sorts of affairs, what? I mean to say... well, if you must know, it was bally well marvellous. Absolutely corking. I- well, I hadn't even really known it was possible to feel so utterly spiffing. Certainly wouldn't say no to another go, if the party of the second part has an interest.
James: Whilst I am sure Mr. Bascud is a good man... it is inconceivable that I ever could have had that sort of relationship with him. Similarity has nothing to do with it; it is a question of morals, of what a man does
( ... )
Lucy: Oh? Well, I must give that a try sometime. ... When I've stopped running for my life.
Bertie: *is blushing too furiously to think of an actual response to that*
James: Certainly, I would be more than willing to form... a friendship with him. As I say, I'm sure he is a good man. Our relations thus far have simply been rather, ah, strained.
James: Can you really blame him, though? He's trying to cope with having probably the only person he's ever opened up to not know him at all. There is some form of you that he cares for, and it kills him that you're not him. Of course it's going to be strained.

Bertie: You may be surprised at his unwavering interest in you, Briton. ♥
James: Next question, then. Does that completely rule out any chance of a relationship with him, romantic or otherwise?
