The job hunt continues...
I'm kind of glad I decided to withdraw my application from the job I was talking about earlier ( here). It's a good thing I did because I had no idea it was going to take me three weeks to get my work-study authorized. Ridiculous... thanks, school administration! Ugh.
An update on my working status: I am still unemployed. But, it looks like I might end up working as a tutor for stats and occasionally, calculus. It's appointment-based, which means I only need to go if a student wants to schedule an appointment with me. Sweet.
I don't think I'll make more than $400 this semester, but I'm okay with that. I need the money. I want to save up for something big... perhaps a new camera to replace my old Canon PowerShot. Or a giant plush Totoro... whichever I see first.
