I've changed my mind about Silver Snail.
There are still things that I'm not all that crazy about. Like no free bag and boards and I think it is still a little cold. It just doesn't always have that friendly atmosphere, it's too business-y.
The last two weeks though I kinda enjoyed my visit. Staff was friendly and helpful, and for a Wednesday wasn't that crowded. But I think what I REALLY like is that they have 20% off TPBs. ...and coming from a very new reader who wants to catch up and read as much as possible... That's a pretty sweet deal and doesn't break my wallet all that much. They also have back-issues. Yeah, that doesn't sound so much like a sweet addition, but considering the other comic book store I've been trying out doesn't really have much a back-issue collection.......
