Thailand!
I'm going to Thailand!
Jetstar had some super cheap tickets, so Scott and I grabbed up two of them. We've been meaning to go overseas this year and timing works out well (end May - mid June) - just before I start teaching at RMIT in 2nd semester.
I've tried to be super organised about this trip and did a nice Excel spreadsheet with a rough itinerary. I'm so worried that we'll miss out on doing a whole bunch of stuff, so I'm trying to cram as much as I can into our 2.5 weeks! Scott has been nice and accommodating and is letting me go nuts planning everything.
Highlights of the trip will be:
- playing with tiger cubs at The Tiger Temple
- hiking to the top of Erawan falls (there are 7 waterfalls!)
- bathing with elephants
- feeding monkeys in Krabi
- full moon party in Koh Phangan
- white water rafting
- ziplining on a massive flying fox through treetops
- glorious, glorious beaches!
I'm so excited! All of our accommodation and flights are booked. I can't believe how cheap everything is either - in most places it's less than $50 a night for 2 people for some pretty nice rooms. I can't wait to try various foods on a stick :D
