Being sick sucks...
It surely does. I got sick a few days ago but started to feel it last night. I went to bed around 11:30 (really early) and got up at 6. I found out that I desprately needed something to wet my mouth with so I got some water. Then I went back to bed and woke up around 8:30. I still didn't feel like moving so I got my sisters remote and started watching t.v.. There was nothing on so I ended up fliopping through the channels for about a half hour. I finally got bored of doing that and went to the living room. I figured the couch was comfy enough and that I could pop in a DVD and fall asleep to that. At this point I still felt like I had not gotten any sleep at all. Well, I took my tissues and blanket out there and put in Dilbert. With in 2 minutes I was asleep again. Now, it's about 9:05. I didn't wake up agian until noon. Now, here I am typing on here still a little tired. It's not as bad as it was...but it still sucks.
Went to the farmer's market yesterday morning with Josh. It was fun. It wasn't as big as I expected, but how big can it get for Hillsborough. I got some lotion that smells like honeysuckles...it is the best smelling thing I've had in a long time. I also got some cinnamon buns made by Josh's mom, they were so good. I also got some Thai style pancakes from someone, they weren't great but they were better than I expected. I wanted four but she gave me a fifth one for free. :-).
That's basically all that has gone on so far. I am babysitting next Thursday and hopefully Jessica can come with. I figure I would give her half of what I made, sounds reasonable I guess. I can't pay it all right away but she'll get it. Me and my brother are gonna get my dad a 50 dollar gift card to Best Buy next week. It's not much but since he is a hard person to shop for he can get what he really wants. He's already got a couple thousand CD's, and a couple hundred movies. As you can see it would be hard to pick out something he likes. We were thinking about getting him a book shelf for all his books (he has a few hundred of them) but we're still trying to clean stuff out, so it would be a while before we could get that.
Well, there's not much else to tell. Hopefully I wont be sick for too long so I can go out and do stuff. My sister and brother are taking the cars again Monday so I'll be stuck home with no car again Monday...the fourth friggin day in a row. The summer is sooo boring, I need to get out!
Edit: I woke up from a nap around 5 p.m. I fell aslep again around 3. This cold is slowing me down like crazy. Bah
