screaming, "HALLELUJAH!"
my body feels so worn out & dead, and i don't know what from. i think i'm in dire need of a deep tissue massage.
so last night, the band practiced with alex from the holy ghost circuit, and chris & adrian from a love like this. it was pretty amazing, if i do say so myself. we covered paramore and meg&dia to get into the feel of things, and i got really comfortable unbelievably fast. i'm usually all fdlnfks with people i first meet, but they did a swell job at making me feel comfortable with my shitty guitar playing skills. but i guess melissa put in a word for me 'cause the first things they said to me, "so we've heard that you've been playing for a really long time, and you taught yourself. how old were you when you got into the guitar?" and i was like, "...uh... six..." ahaha. it was a great way to start off, and they said if we ever need a practice space, we can use the garage. i think we will be :]]]
afterwards, i was hungry & i needed to pee, so the band (melissa, linda, ben & i) went to mcdonald's, and i guess you can say we had our first band "blooper" experience. first, melissa was telling me how small i was, and i was like, "bitch, i weigh 122" and she was like, "i weigh like 105" so i tried picking her up, and almost dropped her :] and then us girls went into the bathroom and saw the nastiest thing of our lives, and melissa screamed so loud that everyone heard. it was hilarious but gross. and ironically, we all got food, and ate on the way back. :P
and the ride to my house was so funny. they all made fun of me because i downloaded the new GC album and i was making a mess in the car when i was eating (i'm a really messy eater. i don't do dainty bites, bitches). and then they told me when we get a van, i wasn't allowed to eat in it.
and as i was unloading my equipment, i realized that i can really see myself doing this for the rest of my life: playing my music, having bandbloopers, eating nasty ass mcdonalds, and getting picked on. i'm in love.
