yay!
I went to Metropolis today to see the mall itself, but mostly to see the new AE store. It is SO cool. Definitely bigger than Circle Centre, except Room 3 is about the same. The cash wrap is bigger and nicer, and not put together all shitily. We're also right next to this central area where they have laser lights and strobe lights, aweseome music, and this giant fountain. We're next to The Buckle and Journeys and across from Pac Sun, Aero, and Hot Topic. The only sucky things I foresee with the new store: 1) we have 2 public restrooms inside the store itself. Evidently, it being an outdoor mall, The Metropolis does not have public restroom facilities. 2) The stock room is really not that big. It's gonna be a pain to fit everything in. Oh well, it's still going to be awesome to work there no matter what! I'm totally stoked. Tomorrow will be my first day there. A couple of us are cleaning up, then orientation is at 6. We made tshirts to wear to orientation too...they're very cool :) Hopefully the newbies will be fun and good workers. We open in 10 days! Wee hoo!
