oh man, what a week
So I ended last week with 19 hours oncampus and 51 at AE, for a grand total of 70 hours. Hence the lack of posts. But here's the low down...
-Monday we got 508 cases of shipment at AE. We had to debox all the stuff and then we just threw them in the new store where they would end up. After that, we started putting things on walls and tables. That continued thru Tuesday and Wednesday. Then Wednesday we had an overnight to move all the shit from the temp store to the newly remodeled store. I worked from noon Wednesday, to 7am Thursday. Yeah, it was quite a long shift. However, the store looks amazing and we got compliments from the higher ups in the company who visited on Thursday.
-Monday night Jenny Heidler was in town for training, so I stopped by her hotel after work. It was really good to see her! We caught up on all the Merrillville gossip and our dating scene. Yeah...it was a long night ;-)
-Saturday I watched the movie Closer with Brian. It was interesting movie. A lot of dry, British humor. However, very little plot. Then we went to Steak 'n Shake for some grub. Then we came back and watched more tv and talked til REALLY late, then just ended up havin a sleep over. It was good times :)
-Sunday I worked all day, then we had our big Back to School meeting at AE. We talked about all the new denim and the competitions and whatnot. So everyone has to come buy jeans from AE the 2nd week of August! :-D Then after the meeting we went back to Brian's house for our weekly tradition of QAF on Sunday night. After that we went to the gas station to fill up, and got hit on by a car full of high school chicks, and we got honked at by a car of gay guys. Then we just chilled downtown for a bit to pass the time.
And today is my first real day off of AE so I'm just taking the time to relax and catch up on my laundry and cleaning :) Peace out bitches!
