Hello, and welcome to Ashley-had-no-idea-how-much-of-a-ruckus-a-silly-LJ-post-could-cause Land!

I'm not going to lie, it was way interesting reading the comments. Definitely made me think more about immigration than I have in awhile, seeing as lately most of my concerns are: when is that paper due? do I have to work today? when do I get paid? I need food. I need money. where are my thoughts - oh right, they're in a million places. when does Macie get home so I can go to the gym? is it really only Tuesday?

Seriously, feel free to keep debating, it's edumacational for me! Haha.

In all sincerity though, as I commented at the end of the mass breakout of emotion and politics, I'd really just like to say that I love America. Sure, it has it's issues, but at least as Americans we can talk, debate, and do things to change those issues. And we have a military made up of people who WANT to fight for their country, not a forced mass of brainwashed slaves. And we are allowed to disagree with our teacher (only after grades go out ;) haha ), and we make our life whatever we want it to be. And someday, the environmentalists will realize that not all dirtbikers are trashy slobs who need to get kicked in the pants, and will quit planting cacti (Do we REALLY need more?!?) all over my trails so I can't ride on them anymore. (Sorry, random vent of mine). I think we all just need a little more respect for each other, a lot more love, and a hell of lot less hatred and intolerance. Someone is going to disagree with you no matter who you are.
And I think everyone needs to take a little more time to actually listen to each other, instead of just waiting for their turn to speak.

Now, I shall end with one of my favorite quotes of all time.

"I know in my heart that man is good,
that what is right will always eventually triumph,
and there is purpose and worth to each and every life."
-Ronald Reagan

Goodnight folks. I have a paper to write. And you all have some chocolate chip cookies to start eating. Seriously, they fix everything.
