starting today, things are gonna be alright

I have a feeling this weekend is going to be quite enjoyable.
Why, you ask?
Yesterday, being like a Friday after all, I went to my brother's baseball game with my family and Ben. (Good Job Stapley boys baseball!)
Then we ate dinner at my house, lucky Ben. He got to experience the craziness that is my family at dinnertime. :-p
After which we went back to his house for a little, until Kenny and Melissa picked us up and we went to see Guess Who?. Funny movie, but not one I'll have to see over, and over, and over again. It tried a little too hard to be like Meet the Parents but was nowhere near the awesomeness of that movie.
In conclusion, I had a wonderful night. *enter big smile*

Today I am venturing to the lake with Jaron Smith and the rest of my prom group. w00t! Time for Ashley to freeeeze! Heh.
Hopefully all will go well and I will not hit my head on anything (ask anyone-I have a knack for hitting my head on everything).
Maybe I'll even be able to wakeboard successfully. That would add a couple points to my "cool" factor. Muwaha.

And tomorrow, April 30th, 2005, is my senior prom. Eeegad, I can't believe I've made it here. I'm 16 days away from no longer being a student at Mountain View High School. That thought makes me really really happy, and a little bit sad-like. Irregardless(such a fun word), I hope to see any of you guys there that are going, and if you're not, revel in the fact you don't have to walk around in a dress and high heels and bad knees. :)

But in the here and now, I am quite pleased with this poppyseed bagel I am eating. Hopefully I won't need anymore drug tests.

Well, this entry was pointless enough...
Eeep! Few more things I wanted to mention because I can...
April-thanks for the stellar phone conversation when I was having a bad day. Nothing like spending an hour talking like morons about absolutely nothing.  You really are the best friend anyone could ask for. Te amo, WOMAN. :)
Ben-thanks for taking me out to lunch, and for Harvey my pink flamingo, and all the other millions of things you're always doing for me. Now we just need to keep knives away from ourselves. :) xoxo.
Tay-thanks for being my lunch buddy. :) I think we're due for some more of my infamous milkshakes soon. Heh--your house? Cuts and bruises for-ev-er! See you on Saturday.
Zane-thanks for making me smile. And for letting me steal music off your computer. And for letting me hit my head on your ceiling fan. :) Next time I'll try not to choke on my Gatorade.
And thanks to anyone else that has made me smile this week. I love you guys.

This is Ashley, signing out.
:)
