Evil!Ruby with Pyro for
allerdyce_john "Well hell's bells, isn't this just a new and interesting twist on things, hmm?" Her lips curved up in a sweet little smile, arms settling gently across her chest as she pushed off the wall. She didn't make a sound as she walked over to her summoner, ghosting across the floor and circling him slowly, her smile widening with every silent step. "Summoning demons, sweetheart, that's a little passé, isn't it? Welcome to the twenty first century, it's called a cell phone."
She wonders when this isn't going to be like déjà vu all over again. One day, one day her boys were going to figure it out. They were cute; she'd give them that. Cute, but dumb.
"You never woulda struck me for a demon summoning kind of guy," she went on, pausing at his back to give him a slow once over. "No, you seem to be more for the... shall we say, pyrotechnics?"
Now it was his turn to smile, so cocky and self-assured. "You could say that," he quantified; shrugging as he looked back at her like he knew exactly what she was thinking watching him like that.
He didn't, sadly, which was why the force of her backhand threw him into a wall, the plaster crumbling against his back, his head bumping off of the wall with a sickening crunch. It kind of made her feel a little gleeful inside. "You're right," she agreed, stepping over to pull him up and pin him against the wall. "I could say that. And I did, so... thanks for the update."
Seeing him itch for his lighters she disposed of them quickly. "Naughty naughty, little boy. Witches don't like fire, hmm?"
"I thought you were a demon," he snapped.
"Sometimes I'm both."
He struggled feebly against her grip, eyes cutting every so often to the lighters she'd flung across the room. "Hey, I called you here for--"
She cut him off, rolling her eyes as she tightened her fingers around his wrists, pressing him harder into the wall. She stepped closer, her words a whisper against his skin. "For something you don't want, love."
He chuckled. "Baby, power is definitely all I want."
It was all everyone wanted, it seemed, and Ruby released his wrists, backing away and crossing her arms across her chest. "You better think long and hard about this, Pyro. 'cause I have a strict no returns policy. And you can't really keep your receipt from this, I'm not so good with the paperwork shtick."
"I want it. I want power."
Her lips curved up into an expression that was something like 'it's your funeral' and she shrugged, turning in a slow circle. "I'm banking on you not being deficient enough that I'm gonna have to lay down the play by play."
"Ten years."
"A good ten years," she offered sweetly, stopping her circle to flash a smile at him before starting again, miniature pacing. "A good, powerful ten years. And then you're mine. Hope you don't mind that minor detail."
He scoffed, moving forward. Apparently he still had some balls when he was without his firepower. She just hoped she didn't have to throw him into the wall again. She almost chipped a nail. "Minor. I want it."
She sighed long-sufferingly, scooping up his lighter and flipping it open. What was with the boys with the Zippos and their icky painfully gelled and slicked back hair and silly nicknames? Maybe it was because of Danny Zuko? Which was sad, because that probably made them slightly gay.
Which put those escapades with the blonde one into a whole new light.
Oh, ew.
"Well, fine. Seal the deal, then."
Maybe it was because she didn't seem so into the idea of trading his soul for power (and come on, that was just so felt up), but he walked to her with more force than she would have expected. Taking her face in his hands, he kissed her long and hard -- she could feel the heat in his lips, the way he crushed her against the wall, the spark as the deal was made, the crackle of his soul being made hers.
When she pulled back, he looked down at her, breathless. She patted his head condescendingly. "Nice doing business with you, kid. See you next decade," she called over her shoulder, traipsing out of the room.
He followed her quickly, yelling at her to wait up. He stopped short when he saw her open the door to a pretty little thing sitting out front.
"Nice ride."
She shrugged. "Came with the car."
