Danny Ocean: Does he make you laugh?
Tess Ocean: He doesn't make me cry.
She doesn't cry. Strictly speaking it's not a demonic thing to do. She gets thrown through a very high end probably Ethan Allen table and she doesn't cry. She can feel herself slipping away and she doesn't cry.
It's like Demon Code. You may have heard of it, it's real similar to Winchester Code.
She didn't cry when Bobby shot her, just whined a little, complained about her shirt. Peace on Earth, man, it's the new fad. She was all for it. She was also for a new shirt, but Bobby never saw fit to replace it. Or the jacket he'd ruined when the bullet spilt through the back.
She kept the jacket though. It was cute.
She doesn't cry when Sam threatens to kill her, Colt cocked and ready. Ready because she made it that way, thanks, but she doesn't bother pointing that out. She and Sam have an understanding, even that early on. He won't hurt her, he's got too much to lose.
Besides, Sam's kinda sexy when he's being all grr and controlling.
She doesn't cry when she looks in Dean's eyes and sees her fate reflecting back at her like she's watching a bad B-movie where the blonde chick dies first. The blonde chick always dies first. She knows Dean could pull the trigger because he knows she won't save him. But her cards are on the table for Sam, so he doesn't. And he won't.
He's such a softy sometimes. Jackass.
She cries, once, when her back is turned. He doesn't ask why or try to comfort her, he just puts his hands on her shoulders and his chin on her head. Later, he doesn't even bring it up and if she tried, she could fool herself into thinking it never happened.
But they've both got minds like steel traps.
It's a pity, some things are better left forgotten.
