[3.2] "It's for you..."

They don't know how annoying their phones are. Smoke on the Water can only be played so many times until it's liable to make a person nutty. (For Ruby, that's only once but she has remarkable self-control.)

When they fight, she hears it over and over and over and over again. She can hear Sam humming along to it or Dean drumming along to it and it never gets better. At least Sam is quieter.

It's not one of those songs that gets stuck in your head either, it jars her out of whatever she was thinking and then leaves her to her thoughts again like a rogue wave trying to knock down a child's sand castle.

Smoke on the water, fire in the sky...

Their personalized ring tones are about Armageddon, she thinks. Ironic. Or idiotic. With them it's always a toss up, idiocy usually wins over irony. Though irony sometimes makes a valiant effort. She knows because they complain about it, loudly and repetitively.

Her phone rings and it's just a normal ring tone. No Deep Purple or something else entirely lost in the seventies or eighties, no hair band heavy metal psuedo rock ballads. It's on vibrate nearly all the time though.

She flips it up and open, it's one of those new ones, sidekick or something, she didn't bother trying to figure it out, it's just cute.

"Hello?"

There's a crackle of static on the other side and some incoherent babbling. She rolls her eyes and holds the phone out. "It's for you."
