A dance in the old dame yet
Well, I have had ticking over over the past months various academic things, but I lately cleared off my desk/to-do list a second round of article-reviewing, providing a blurb for a book, and revisions to two things for a web project. And nothing else immediately on hand (presumably there will be proofs of the 2 chapters somewhere in press, some times, and possibly further edits for the web thing).
So, says I to myself, now you could revive the old academic blog as you have been thinking about doing to write up some of the weird research rabbit-holes that opened up in the course of other endeavours. Not to mention, maybe do a bit of sorting of papers???? Perhaps get going on some research reading?
I was making a tentative start on these, when, lo and behold, I was solicited to be the reviewer of articles for a projected journal special issue...
There is also, but I am not holding my breath on this one, because the practicalities in present circumstances seem to me considerable, an acquaintance who is very keen to embark on a meedja project in an Area Of My Expertise. (Sid will not be co-starring.)
