I do not know what it is that the problem is, but I seem to have inordinate issues with changing my password for email on former workplace site (to which I still have access by virtue of largely honorary position).
This time it was An Entirely New Thing - I went into 'I have lost my password and would like a new one', which is how you change it remotely, and even though I put in existing email, and the captcha, it would not let me proceed - I went through several iterations of this before giving up and contacting IT support. (This is a change from 'We really don't like your new password but will not tell you WHY, go away.')
Am waiting for communication from Support Person...

ETA We have now communicated and after certain cross-purposes, my password has been reset and I have even managed to log in with it.
But honestly, this seems to happen every few months.
Also, phone is doing that thing where the full charge gets lower and lower day by day. On previous occasions it has then started a slow climb back... one can only hope.
