I think I may finally have got the online banking thing for the credit card sorted? Not before getting into a tangle of frustration and sending a furious vent via their complaints system about how much time and hassle had been involved when all I wanted to do was give them my mobile number for security purposes. But anyway, I was eventually able to get through their baroque labyrinthine system and log in online and reinstate paper statements, which they auto-change when you install the app on your phone, I don't even, grrrrr.
Then this morning I opened up Kobo Desktop, because I have a new book this morning, and lo and behold, it starts updating my e-reader.
More grrrr. Because it got to the stage of a pop-up asking me to log-in, and within the popup a screen asking me to click on - except, within the pop-up, you couldn't actually see the top bit that said WHAT - and anyway I finally managed to wiggle that about and find out what it was in the murky pictures I was supposed to look for -
- and then this went round and round and round and returning me to log in and I finally said CANCEL and ejected my e-reader.
Which told me to connect by wifi to complete process, which I did.
To find that it had done that thing which it had, as I recall done before, wiped out things like the dates I loaded books, so all my 'Unread: recent' is a long list in alphabetical order rather than by the actual chronology, groan.
Siiiigh.
