This week's bread: 50:50 Sharpham Park Heritage Flour and strong white, a splosh of oil, a sprinkle of sunflower seeds, turned out rather well.
Saturday breakfast rolls: the eclectic vanilla rolls.
Today's lunch: partridge breasts (I though I had some pheasant breasts in the freezer, but apparently not) rubbed with crushed Bristol blend peppers and coriander seed and a little salt, panfried as per package in butter and olive oil, served with some rosemary jelly and damson cheese; with Ruby Gem potatoes roasted in duck fat, spinach according to Dharamjit Singh's recipe in Indian Cookery, and baby cauliflower and baby romanesco cauliflower boiled until tender in salted acidulated water, drained, quartered and tossed for a while in warmed olive oil and lemon juice and a crushed clove of garlic (NB for future ref, maybe more of this?) and ground black pepper.
