This is beginning to feel positively pointed...

Last year, as I don't particularly expect anyone but myself to remember, at the beginning of November I found that I had been cut off without warning from the email of My Former WorkPlace Where I am still A Research Fellow, and only after several failed attempts to connect with IT people did I get in touch with relevant Departmental Administrator, who solved it stat, and when I logged in at last, discovered that all messages concerning the matter had been being sent to the account To Which My Access Had Been Cut Off....
You may imagine my response to the How Did We Do? survey, which included a free-text field.
And lo and behold, this happened again this year, even though, as I discovered when contacting as a first resort Departmental Administrator, that they had alerted IT about the issue some months ago (I am not the only person affected).
Yet again, when I logged in, there was a string of messages apropos of the matter sent to this account which I did not, at the time, have access to, plus, a How Did We Do? survey....
As if that was not trying enough, this week I have been reminded to change my password. I did so, and the system did not like it and would not let me log in, so I changed it again.
To get the following message:
This password does not meet the length, complexity, age or history requirements of your corporate password policy.
Requirements of which no details had at any point been supplied.
Have contacted Departmental Administrator for illumination on the subject. I mean, what, besides uppercase and lowercase letters, numbers and symbols (possibly within certain limitations) do they want?
