More weirdness from the Harry Ransom Center - okay, when I was there I was nose-down in the British Sexology Society/George Ives collections and a few other related things, so I never really delved into the bizarre depths: collection of famous people's hair compiled by the Romantic poet and essayist Leigh Hunt: 'Hunt's interest in hair is well documented' - we wonder if he had a separate collection of locks snipped from unwary passers-by...

Only recently seeing the light of day, or at least, exposed to the general view: Lost stash of 400 erotic drawings by Duncan Grant comes to light: Explicit works by 20th-century gay artist were secretly passed from lover to lover for decades. Actually, not lost, just not known about, kept secret for very good reasons, as even after 1967 I suspect anyone found in possession might have been done for gay porn.

Honestly, I think they should have said they were doing C18th anti-clerical porn re-enactment: Priest arrested for having threesome with corset-wearing dominatrices on church altar - or maybe they were? Though C18th anti-clerical porn usually involved dominatrix nuns...
