Returning to the theme of the 'quarantine novels' to come
Occurred to me a while ago - did I comment to somebody else's journal on this? I feel I mooted it somewhere - that lockdown brings about conditions approximating to the 'cut-off country house with restricted group of suspects' golden-age murder mystery scenario.
'4. What new hobby have you taken up during this? Devising cunning and undetectable ways of offing the really annoying room-mates I am unfortunately banged up with for the duration.'
I have also been mulling over - having just come across the latest person who is going 'The Olds are a necessary sacrifice' - the scenario of quite possibly large numbers of Aged Relatives picking up the phone or getting online to contact their persons of law in order to change their wills... 'O, gee, Very Wealthy Great-Grandpa, I didn't mean you, I meant those other Old People over there - '
'As if you haven't been trying to get your hands on my money by having me declared incompetent, do you think I don't know what you've been up to?'
