I hope no-one was worried (I daresay no-one noticed)

That I didn't manage anything that could be considered a proper post yesterday, thus breaking a run that previously was only broken by the fact of being on a train from Vancouver to Toronto without wifi or phone signal, some years ago.
I had A Thing on yesterday which involved giving a presentation on some archives, which I realised I had to do some prep for, and also had to meet other person involved in advance, so it all started well before the actual start, as it were, and then there was going out to dinner afterwards.
And I will concede that it was really quite pleasant, and the company was agreeable, even if there were some of those disadvantages that accrue with a group above a certain size, but it was all running a bit later than I had anticipated.
And then when the revels finally ended, could I find a taxi at a point in Central London that one would expect to be crawling with them? Had to take a Tube home.
By which time I had nearly pumpkinified (even if I kept both shoes on). This entry was originally posted at https://oursin.dreamwidth.org/2943145.html. Please comment there using OpenID. View
