Still not past it, by my dance card
I commented a couple of weeks ago that maybe I'm not entirely past my best-before date yet, by the various things I have been asked to do lately -
Subsequent to which, I have had 2 requests to Talk About Stuff in the next couple of months, one of which also involves doing a radio chat beforehand -
Plus the thing that I was asked to do ages ago and then got a bit silent about the details is now back on track, and I am a lot clearer on what they want me to talk about (or at least, they are entirely happy with me talking about the things I am interested in).

Also, have at least made a start on The Chapter I am supposed to be writing. Just having an opening rather than pacing up and down wringing my hands is a great burden off my mind.
In other academic news, I very recently discovered that an encyclopaedia article I have been listing for ages as 'somewhere in the publishing process' was actually published a considerable while ago but no-one ever informed me. I was able to ascertain that the work had been published through the usual sources, and checked that my article appeared in it yesterday when I was in the BL.
