My brain has melted and is running out of my ears

Fleeting across my attention, I discover that there is an Institution of Teh Highah Lerninz in London which has a Decadence Research Centre.
Alas, one supposes that it is not draped with velvet curtains and lit only by flickering candles and there is not some decadent incensey perfume about the place as one reclines onto a chaise-longue, or possibly onto cushions upon the luxuriously carpeted floor.
Nor is one served with glasses of absinthe by doe-eyed servitors while somebody intones readings from A Rebours set to flute music.
