Gym grump
The gym I go to has lately - just before the holidays - come Under New Management.
There are various changes happening and notices apologising for the inconvenience.
Apart from the moving the equipment around so that I have to undertake explorations to find out where any particular machine I need to use is now located, I have also discovered that some equipment is no longer there, which is rather annoying when one's programme, that one had put together by a trainer fairly recently, includes that particular thing.
(There are also various entirely new and strange bits of impedimenta about the place.)
Sigh.
I also note that, at that time of the year when one is wont to see people in the gym who are entirely birds of passage motivated by transient new year resolve, it seems somewhat deserted: this may, however, be down to the time I go there.
