Extreme sport in Tooting: Ultra-running is one of the fastest growing sports, usually taking place in remote, scenic landscapes. Not a running track in London. Will competitors reach nirvana? I'm trying to resist the Tooting jokes based on the preferability of running in circles.
Yet another, not exactly condemned to repeat it, but review of book that assumes that there was No Free Love before the late 1960s: Future Sex by Emily Witt review - is another era of free love over?
Though, thinking of the 1920s - which is where my mind tends to go when invoking free love, though I could probably bore for Europe on its C19th roots), I was vastly amused by this: The Great Gatsby review - get immersed in jazz-age hedonism. This possibly might work better than that attempt at a Eugene O'Neill speakeasy - which would surely only be authentic if you woke up to find yourself stuck on board a ship onto which you had been conveyed after being slipped a mickey while celebrating the end of your last voyage below-decks.
