Hello Windy City!
Though at the moment just rather cool and overcast.
So far travel has gone almost sinisterly well: minicab turned up on time, got to Heathrow in under an hour, expeditiously through check-in and security, you now get 4 hrs of free WiFi in Terminal 2 (though the signal is not always all that).
Plane part of the journey a bit tedious but at least they had me down as a Hindu vegetarian, also, plane far from full.
O'Hare seems to have upped the its game and joined the C21st and getting through immigration and customs left me feeling much less like a tired huddled mass.
However, while I did not have to wait for a taxi, as per usual the driver had no idea of location of hotels around the airport.
